About Jaci Siemsen

Each year is a new year that I look forward to with students of all abilities!  I began my teaching career as a special education teacher in 2005.  I taught my first 7 years at Thayer Central Community Schools in Hebron, NE as a Special Education Teacher.  In 2012 Republic County became my home!

In 2004 I graduated from the University of Nebraska in Lincoln with a Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education.  I earned my Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in Teaching and Learning from Peru State College in 2007.  In 2013 I completed a Graduate Certificate in Autism Spectrum Disorders from the University of North Dakota.

I have a true passion for the field of autism, as well as, students and family affected by Autism Spectrum Disorders.   I have been a part of the Autism Teams in both Thayer Central and Republic County.  I am currently the coordinator of the Autism Intervention Team for the districts within our Learning COOP.

My husband, Clay and I are proud to be a part of this district.  We are excited to have our 3 children Garrett, Gracia, and Grady going to school here as well!
